  • QuizPerCard ('we', 'us', 'our') is committed to protecting your personal data.
  • This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it.
  • By using QuizPerCard, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and password (hashed).
  • Usage data: pages visited, questions attempted, scores, streaks, and session duration.
  • Device data: browser type, IP address, operating system (collected automatically).
  • Payment data: billing name and last 4 digits of card when subscribing. Full card details are handled by Razorpay and never stored by us.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the Service — generating targeted practice, tracking your weak topics, and personalising your experience.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send you product updates, feature announcements, and support responses (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
  • We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform (e.g., Razorpay for payments, Vercel for hosting).
  • We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Cookies & Tracking

  • We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain session security.
  • We use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it.
  • You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.

6. Data Retention

  • We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service.
  • If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

  • Access: you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: you can update inaccurate or incomplete data from your account settings.
  • Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Portability: you can request your data in a machine-readable format.

8. Children's Privacy

  • The Service is not directed at children under 13.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

  • We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls.
  • No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take all reasonable precautions.
